Pharmacology

[Appearance] Colorless and transparent solution.

Indications

EYETREOLENT Eye Drops is indicated for use in patient with opacity and hemorrhage of vitreous body caused by aging, myopia, hypertension, diabetes, periphlebitis and lens opacity as early symptom of senile cataract.

Contra-indications

EYETREOLENT should not be used in those persons followed.

- Those who are showing hypersensitivity to any of the components.

- Patients with thyroid dysfunction.

- Pregnant women, nursing mothers and children.

Precautions/Warnings

To avoid contamination, do not touch tip of container to any surface. Remove contact lenses before using.

[Warnings]

- Ophthalmic use only

- Avoid allowing the up of the dispensing container to contact the eye directly.

- Keep this and all drugs out of the reach of children.

- Do not use this product for more than a month after opening.

- Do not use exchange the container to prevent misuse.

- Press the lacriamal sac lightly to minimize the systemic effect of EYETREOLENT.

Interactions

No drug interaction.

Adverse Effects

Topical: Stinging, burning and lacrimation may occur

Systemic: As Eyetreolent contains iodide, it may cause hyperthyroidism and acniform eruptions.

Dosage & Administration

Instil 1 drop in the affected eye (s), 1-3 times daily.

Storage/Handling Recommendations

Store at room temperature; 1oC to 30oC.

Avoid exposure to light and excessive beat.

Keep tightly closed.
